The Spear That Cannot Cut Through Water

The rebel lord Marta wrought a spear from the beak of Stork’s son. Its point was so fine it could pierce through sinew, bone, steel or stone.

But Marta was rebuked by Stork. Under his curse, she would never bear children. Water would not pool in her cup or her palm, nor could the spear pass through it. Still she wielded the spear, in defiance of the despot, the Marble Knight.

So the Marble Knight had his palace of fountains commissioned. Water pools on the roof and curtains the fortified walls. Within his shimmering fortress he feels safe. He hasn’t left in 20 years.

This questline features no Myths, but is designed to flesh out some of the dramas that might be happening as a backdrop to the Myths in your realm.

A 4-page module for players to engage in, including NPCs, landmarks, and a palatial Site to explore.

The module would easily plug into any hexmap run with Old School sensibilities.
